The SOMA FET Project was a sponsor of the IEEE RAS Seasonal School “SofTech-Rehab”. The school’s goal was to provide young researchers with interdisciplinary knowledge to design, simulate, and develop the next generation of robotic systems for rehabilitation and assistance, to be used in the clinical practice and as support to activities of daily living.
The SOMA FET Project decided to sponsor such an event since the development of an integrated technological approach, centered on robotics and focused on the patient, represents a real breakthrough in the rehabilitation and assistive domains and is in line with the goal of the project itself.
Furthermore, Prof. Loredana Zollo, PM of SOMA was one of SofTech-Rehab’s organizers, and was also a speaker together with Prof. Dario Farina, another SOMA partner.
